Comming into the professional arena as a Followspotter/jnr. lighting technician. My National Service in the Navy taught me a great deal, amongst was taught how to lead from the front and never expect someone to do something that you are not prepared to do yourself. After completion of my service, returned to the theatre as a Flyman/Mechanist, then later as an Asst.Technical Stage Manager, once I had gained experience was promoted to Technical Stage Manager, then finally as Snr. Technical Stage Manager/ Production Manager.
I am a "cup is half full" type of person. For me there is nothing like a good "hard" day of work " It's good for the soul!"
